This textile is so quintessential Guatemala! It is called corte and is part of the traditional Mayan woman’s daily wardrobe. We love it because it reminds us of these beautiful women and their colorful heritage. You will love it for its weathered appearance, hearty texture and long-lasting durability. We created napkins with a raw edge to preserve and honor the textile’s history. If you are looking for a very tailored napkin, this may not be for you as the edges will slightly fray upon washing. We are selling them in sets of 4 and are sweetly wrapped in a plastic pot. A great gift presentation for sure, and the pot has endless uses when empty. We know you will love these one-of-a-kind raw edge napkins. Happy entertaining!!

This canasta (translated ‘basket’ in English) is the perfect way to pivot from sunny days to fall, seamlessly! Once again, we merged the simplicity of this utilitarian design with modern style, color and versatility. Its sturdy construction and size make it perfect for many uses. Whether it’s for the market, work, or gym, it will handle whatever you toss in it. Our collaboration with master weavers provides sustainable, dignified work to several families. Each canasta comes with a coordinating tassel handmade by the same family, but you can add other beaded ornaments from our Lake Atitlan collection, or a silk remnant from our Personal Accessories category.
